Due to renovations at Hazel Parker Playground, we will be having our swing dances at another location.
We have found a new temporary venue! It is called St. Julian Devine Center, 1 Cooper Street in downtown Charleston. Our first night will be this Saturday, November 28th.

Very important: The dances will be on Fridays or Saturdays.** Here are the next four weeks:
Nov 28th, Saturday
Dec 5th, Saturday- dance only 8-11pm; NO LESSONS; Lindy Loves Soul
Dec 11th, Friday

CSDA Members along With Dancers Around The State Do A Weekend Performance!

Dancers from the Charleston Swing Dance Association, The Palmetto Swing Dance Association (Columbia) and The Greenville Lindy Hoppers were invited to do a special performance in Charleston, SC at a senior fair at Citadel Mall and they turned right around and went to Charlotte, NC to perform as well! It shows that swing dancers around the state have what it takes to enjoy Lindy Hop!

Army Wives, which is filmed in Charleston, SC, needed some dancers for a USO dance scene. Of course SC dancers responded to the call. Two of our local dancers Shawna Hartman and Chris Zyrski (Photo at left) answered the call. When you see them on the dance floor give them a big congrats!
